Charu also revealed that the move to Bikaner was financially sound. “Buying a house here made more sense than paying heavy rents in Mumbai. I never said I was struggling or couldn’t make ends meet. I just made a smarter financial decision for me and my daughter.”

“The brand invited me to their event and insisted on booking a flight. It wasn’t even my call,” she said. “Then some people made videos of me shopping and commented ‘Yeh toh gareeb hai’. First of all, maine kabhi nahi bola ke main gareeb hu (I never said I’m poor). By God’s grace, I’m managing fine.”
She continued, “People have this assumption that if you move out of Mumbai or leave TV for a while, you’re broke or jobless. That’s not true. I’ve simply shifted my focus to brand deals and other ventures that give me more time with Ziana.”
