Citadel Honey Bunny: Manoj Bajpayee Srikant Tiwari Confused by 90s Spies Varun Dhawan and Samantha

In an exciting return,
Srikant Tiwari and JK Talpade, played by Manoj Bajpayee and Sharib Hashmi respectively, are back in action as they delve into a new mystery involving undercover agents. Amazon Prime recently shared a promo that teases the upcoming spy action series, Citadel: Honey Bunny, leaving fans eager for the premiere.

The promo opens with Srikant stationed in a remote location, where JK comes looking for him. Their banter kicks off with JK humorously expressing his impatience: “Dude, I've been waiting for you since ages. They don't even have vada-pav here.” Srikant retorts with a playful jab about JK’s eating habits, saying, “At least you are not stuffing your face with this. And finally, you can get rid of all this belly fat, read this.” He hands over a mysterious file to JK, who quips, “And what museum is this from?” To which Srikant replies, “The museum of Chellum Sir.”

As they examine the file, JK can't help but comment, “Bro, this just looks like a team from the 1990s.” Srikant humorously adds, “Like folks from the era of pager, dead.” This exchange sets the tone for their quirky camaraderie as they navigate their new mission.

Uncovering Honey Bunny

The duo soon discovers the file features Varun Dhawan and Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the characters Honey and Bunny. JK reacts incredulously, asking, “And what sort of names are Honey-Bunny? Does it even sound like a team name? We have got cooler names like JK-Tiwari or Tiwari-JK, not bad. But I think Talpade-Tiwari has a better ring to it, TT.”

The plot thickens as Srikant hands JK another file, leading to a shocking revelation. “What the hell, it was these two who…? This too is Honey Bunny,” JK exclaims, as Srikant emphasizes that they are indeed dangerous spies. When JK questions if they are more dangerous than TASC (Threat Analysis and Surveillance Cell), Srikant confidently declares, “Of course not. We are part of a National Force. Our reach is endless. Even the criminals here fear us, you know? You think they can match our reach? And what kinds of names are these? Honey-Bunny, Honey-Bunny.”

Just as the banter unfolds, a pager starts ringing, with a message that reads, “Honey Bunny are here.” This moment sets the stage for the thrilling escapades that are bound to follow.
